I removed the standard slide lock that caused the trouble and reinstalled the SAS slide lock. Put it all back together and everything is operating as should be.The mag is out and the slide is locked back but the damn takedown lever will not go to 6 o'clock position no matter how hard I force it. My thumb is bleeding at this point lol. Might not be the same, but for a while the 320s needed to push the barrel down or back slightly to allow the lever to drop. The field stripping procedure is as follows: Unload and clear the pistol. Rotate the takedown lever counterclockwise 90° (left) Pull the slide back and then up to unhook it from the frame. Two of my three P320 pistols (Gen 1 and Gen 2) had tight take down lever syndrome. My solution was to lightly scuff the circumference (removing some Nitron finish) with a 3M Scotchpad, then lube it. I did not permanently remove or change the O-ring for a smaller OD size. They worked smoothly after that. Lock the slide to the rear. Pull down the take down lever and hold it, while you bring the slide forward with your other hand. Try that. Hold the lever takedown forward and grab the slide from the rear, not the front. To reactivity the mag safety, turn the takedown lever horizontal (normal position) then back to the takedown position. To me, something looks wrong with the take down lever. Remove slide and make sure the FCU is seated in the grip module and make sure that take down lever is inside properly and press back all the way. Lock the slide in proper position / alignment, then you should be able to wiggle the locking insert into the frame.
