If the goal was to remove the steam reliance part then there should have been a something ready to take it's place.The only way to play a 1v1 duel with friends in Mordhau is to search for an empty Duels server and then invite them to join. You can't play this with your friends. Yeah exactly. It wouldn't matter because there's not enough servers or player slot openings to even join a game in the 1st place.
