From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. Had to give it a shot of starting fluid to start. Used the ranger several times with no problem starting. Ranger started normal today after sitting for over 24 hours. You should be able to take a small wire connected to your POSITIVE battery terminal and touch the small wire terminal from the starter on the solenoid and fire the starter up. Remember, there is also a 'engaged brake' override to the starter .. the RZR will not start without the 12V brake light signal, so make sure the brake lights are working.

It didn't look like it had been used. I got a new switch and thought it was ready to go but now it cranks and will not start. I pulled a plug and it appeared to have spark. I sprayed ether in the intake and it started and ran for about 1 second. Because its hard to drive and spray started fluid at the same time I need to go further.
